Weber School District – Wahlquist Jr. High School

The project was the construction of a new 160,000 SF junior high school.  The site required full development including landscaping and construction of new playing fields. Characteristics of the facility include: multiple classroom wings, full gymnasium, cafetorium, administration offices, vocational classrooms, locker rooms, and a complete library/media center.  Materials utilized include: CMU Masonry in multiple styles and colors, aluminum storefront windows, EPDM roofing, steel stud framing and drywall, ceramic tile, carpet and VCT flooring. The project required 22 months to complete.

I am pleased to recommend Stacey Enterprises, Inc. as a competent and trustworthy company. I appreciate the great work provided to our district in the construction of Wahlquist Junior High School. This was a multi-million dollar project and it was completed on time and is a beautiful facility.

I appreciate the quality of work that Kevin Gleaves, the construction manager, displayed on this school. During the construction and warranty period Kevin has been responsive to the issues which needed attention and correction. Superintendents Jim Hancey, Rob Hancey and Chase Wood were also professional and competent.

I would not hesitate to recommend Stacey Enterprises, Inc. to other school districts and clients for their construction needs. – Dale Pfister

“It is critical that operations of our facility continue 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Stacey Enterprises has been able to exceed our expectations by scheduling construction activities in order to comply with these demands.
“...Each of the projects have been completed on time and within budget, which is very commendable on a project with numerous mid-construction changes.
“...With all the changes, SEI has been able to be flexible and keep the additional costs to a minimum.”

Glenn Slater | Senior VP Manufacturing

“The projects consisted of the simultaneous construction of three (3) separate historical architectural residences. SEI was awarded the contract to build the homes after submitting the lowest public bid.”
“…SEI was able to successfully complete this project by building the homes to specification, on schedule, and on budget. We would welcome them to participate in any future bids with Ogden City.”

Jeremy Smith | Project Coordinator - Ogden City Community Development

“We have appreciated your valued input from the very beginning when this project was merely a thought for our growing company. From your assistance with the selection of the design team to the management of the budget, then into the challenging demolition phase, through the quality construction work performed and onto the final touches of completion; your team has been more than attentive to this project. We have also welcomed your valued opinion of when to invest further into the project and when to save. We have honored your input and feel like you have always given us the insights of a trusted friend. The results of all this planning and devoted hard work are now evident in the success of the offices working out so well for our team members.”

Richard Hendrickson | President & CEO - Lifetime Products, Inc.

We selected SEI from among several contractors because they offered the lowest price and the shortest completion time. From the beginning, SEI’s forces were diligent. They worked hard and smart. They did a good job coordinating trades and pushing the job forward. Further, the nature of the project – renovation of a building constructed 1904 – called for many adjustments… They endeavored to produce a result with which we would be pleased, and that seemed to be their paramount concern.

Curtis G. Taylor | Executive VP - Heber Valley National Bank

Overall the last several years, Sprint Telephone has been involved with Stacey Enterprises in 15 extensive construction projects.
