Stacey Construction been selected as the CM/GC on the Ogden Airport Expansion and is soliciting pricing on Bid Package #1 – Demolition of the existing Ogden Airport Terminal Building. The demolition will include selective finishes, structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, while also preparing portions of the building for future phases.
Please note this project is federally funded. Therefore, prevailing wages (i.e., Davis Bacon) and weekly certified payroll apply. Please refer to the specifications under “Federal Labor Standard” (see pages 47-52 of the PDF specifications).
Proposals will be evaluated and scored by the OAC committee based on the outlined criteria:

Team and Project Approach 25%
Schedule & Material Lead Times 20%
Past Projects 15%
Refer to the Statement of Qualifications packet for further details. Please fill out and provide the Statement of Qualifications with your proposal. The selection committee shall rank submissions based on proposals provided. If necessary, interviews may be conducted to assist in evaluating the proposals. It will be the decision of the selection committee to recommend proceeding with the most favorable service and approach available. The OAC team includes the Ogden Airport, Sanders Associates, and Stacey Construction. Pricing will need to be valid for no less than 30 days.
Portions of the terminal building along with selective airfield utilities will need to remain functional during the complete project.
A pre-bid walk will be held Thursday October 6, 2022, at 2:00 pm at 3909 Airport Rd
Demolition is projected to start by November 14, 2022, with all planned construction phases achieving substantial completion by April 2024 or sooner.
Typically, work hours are to be during normal business hours (i.e., 7:00 am -4:00 pm). Hours outside of this time can be coordinated with the CM/GC.
Bid proposals are due Tuesday October 18, 2022 by 2:00 PM
All questions pertaining to the project need to be submitted no later than Friday October 7, 2022 by 5:00 pm in the Excel format provided in the bid documents to Russ Clark at Rclark@staceygc.com. All questions will be shared with all contractors for review.
The scope of work in Bid Package #1 – Demolition includes but is not limited to:
Demolition of the existing structural building elements and finish necessary for the addition and interior buildout
• Building utilities
• Structural steel
• New metal stud framing and drywall
• Earth work
