Goldenwest Holds Ribbon Cutting Event For New Operations Center

WASHINGTON TERRACE, UT

Today, Goldenwest Credit Union hosted their grand opening for their new Operations Center located in Washington, Terrace. The 25,000 sq. ft. facility will be a primary work station for up to 200 employees that will support operations, call center services and more.

whalen“The Operation Center stands as a symbol of our mission to preserve and grow Goldenwest Credit Union for generations to come,” said Kerry H. Wahlen, Goldenwest President/CEO. “We are confident the new workspace will have a positive impact on our ability to collaborate more efficiently across many credit union functions, while providing premium office space for our employees.” 

The new Operations Center sits across the street from Goldenwest Credit Union’s main office. Credit Union members will continue to go to the main office for all bank transactions and exchanges.

At the grand opening, Wahlen announced that the company is currently at $1.2 billion dollars but their goal is to continue to grow. With that being said, Goldenwest announced their new division, USU Credit Union , has committed $2 million to the University football stadium which pairs with a previous announcement of $3 million to the ongoing construction a new USU Welcome Center.

“Our highest priority continues to provide excellent member service and financial products at competitive rates,” stated Bill Hart, Goldenwest Chairman of the Board. “Giving our employees the resources they need to help our members achieve their financial goals is an important part of our plan for success as a credit union.”

Goldenwest worked with Bott Pantone Architects and Stacey Enterprises Inc for the design and construction of the facility located at 5167 South Adams Avenue in Washington Terrace City.

Grand Opening of Century Theatres Lakewood, Colorado

May 21, 2005 we celebrated the Grand Opening of Century Theatres new theatre in Lakewood, Colorado. The project was a 16-screen stadium seating theatre and consisted of a 70,000 square foot tilt up structure. The project was a complete success and was able to open early for the showing of Shrek 2. Our sincere thanks go out to the entire project team that worked around the clock to help achieve this goal.

New Junior High School in Tooele

Tooele County School District selected Stacey Construction over seven other firms as the Construction Manager for the new 126,570 square foot Clarke N. Johnsen Junior High School. Construction of the project will begin September 2004 and is scheduled for completion in April 2006.

Fresenius Medical Care Electron Beam Sterilization Facility

Fresenius Medical Care and Stacey Construction have teamed together again for the construction of an Electron Beam Sterilization Facility. SEI has been doing work for Fresenius Medical Care since 1994. This project is unique and challenging consisting of 15′ thick concrete walls, 11’6″ thick concrete ceiling using approximately 4,000 cubic yards of ready mix. This project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2005.

Governor Huntsman and Mayor Godfrey announce tenant for Kemp Ogden Airport Gatew

Governor Huntsman and Mayor Godfrey announced Thursday, March 17, 2005 that Adam Aircraft will lease 22,000 square feet at the Kemp Ogden Airport Gateway Building built by Stacey Construction. The Colorado-based company announced it will produce both its A500 twin-propeller and A700 AdamJet twin-jet aircraft at the Kemp Jet Services terminal. It is anticipated that the aircraft manufacturer will bring 430 new jobs to the Ogden area.
